offer our home repair services for free or substantially reduced costs for the elderly, disabled, or low income families in need. If you or someone you know needs help, please fill out our request form below and we will see if we can help. We will work with friends, family, and other community members or organizations for larger projects. We typically cannot supply materials or help with specific medical devices or care. One of our primary goals is to help people stay in their homes by making their homes safer and more accessible. Regular maintenance and repairs can also be performed as needed. Unfortunately, we have had a lot of requests for help in this time of economic recession. We will not be able to help everyone with free repair services. We have committed approximately 10% of our billable hours each month towards charitable home repairs or services. We will review each request in an informal manor and help those with the most urgent needs, or where we can make the most of our time and resources. We are in the process of obtaining our 501(C)(3) Non-profit charitable status so we can eventually accept donations of materials to further benefit persons in need. Until then, we cannot accept donations. All information submitted will be kept private. We will not share your information with anyone outside of our company. We do not gather or collect sensitive private information such as social security numbers, medical history, employment or economic history. We will not verify your information with any other parties. Since we have limited resources, of both time and money, we ask that the persons requesting assistance take this into consideration. We believe that most people are honest and will only ask for help if they sincerely are in need. This is, simply put, a small family business who feels it is important to help less fortunate members of our community by donating our services. Please tell us about yourself or the person you know in need. We always recommend contacting your social services caseworker or county human services department before requesting help. Very often there are government supported services available for persons or families in need. Services can consist of any of our regular offerings but the most common repairs or improvements are: Wheelchair ramps Widening doors Adding grab bars and hand rails Replacing door knobs with lever type Tub and shower modifications, hand held shower etc Laundry relocation to main floor Non slip surfaces Relocating or adding lights outlets and devices |
